General Information

Please review the general rental criteria before continuing with the application process.

*rental criteria varies by individual property owner

All of our tenants must:

    • Have a stable employment history
      *MIG will verify employment
    • Have a good credit score
      *Lower credit scores may require a larger security deposit or a suitable guarantor. If a guarantor helps to qualify the tenant, he/she must be added to the lease.
    • Have NO violent felony convictions on record
      *all other arrests/convictions will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis
    • Have NO eviction history
    • Provide a copy of most recent pay stub
    • Provide a copy of a social security card or proof of immigration status
    • Provide at least one form of a government issued photo ID

Fees/Deposits

    • $40 non-refundable application fee for each applicant over 18 years old
    • Security deposits are required and due at the lease-signing. They are equal to 1 month’s rent
      *security deposits may be higher depending upon background and credit information
    • $350 refundable pet deposits for one pet; additional pets may require additional fees

Additional Notes

    • No misleading or inaccurate information will be tolerated on the application
    • Face-to-face interviews will be conducted prior to the lease-signing
    • All deposits are due at lease-signing, before move in
    • The first month’s rent is due before move-in
    • No dangerous animal breeds are allowed. Dangerous breeds include Pit Bulls, German Shepherds, Dobermans, Rottweilers, Chows and any mixes of the aforementioned breeds
    • 12-24 month leases are available

Application and Forms

 

Thank you for your interest in leasing one of our homes. If you would like to apply to lease one of our properties, please continue with the application process.

Steps for applying to lease a home:

  1. Contact the listing agent and provide him/her with your name, email address and prospective move in date to request an email invitation to apply.
  2. MIG office will send you an email with a link to fill out the online application and sign via DocuSign.
  3. Once completed and submitted, call our office to confirm receipt of your application and to complete the application process by paying the application fee(s). Our office phone number is 817-719-0280.

Once all components of the application are received, including the payment, you will hear from an MIG agent within 2 business days regarding the status of your application.

 

Additional notes

  • Each individual over 18 years old must complete an application and background check authorization form
  • Application fees are $40 per applicant over 18 years old
  • Checks and credit cards are accepted
